Enter what each person earned. We work out NIS, health surcharge and PAYE for every employee, fill your official NI 184 and NI 187, and print every payslip at once. You check it, sign it, pay it.
None of them set off an alarm. You find out when NIB does, and by then it has been happening for months.
16 bands, and the gap between two of them can be a few dollars of weekly wage. $8,276 a month is Class X. $8,277 is Class XI.
Contributions are weekly amounts. Some months hold five contribution weeks. Charge four and you are short.
One day worked in a week is a full contribution week. Someone who joined on the 10th is not half a month.
Staff under 16 and staff 60 and over are exempt from health surcharge. Deduct it anyway and you are taking money you shouldn't.
The rate rose to 16.2% in January 2026 and rises to 19.2% in January 2027. Every band moves. A spreadsheet doesn't know that.
Every one of these is handled automatically. Keep reading, or skip to pricing.
Set up once. After that every pay period looks the same, and takes about twenty minutes whether you have three staff or thirty.
Salaried staff are already filled in. For hourly staff you type the hours. Add overtime, a bonus or a deduction if there is one.
Each person placed in the right earnings class, contributions and health surcharge worked out, tax applied. Figures update as you type.
You see every figure and every net pay before anything prints. Nothing hidden. Save the run for reprinting later.
Every payslip downloads at once. The official forms come out filled in, ready to sign and take in.
This is the difference between software that calculates payroll and software that finishes it. We print your figures directly onto the real NIB forms, in the right boxes, ready to sign.
Both forms, from one pay run. Same employer, same period.
“I gave him a raise and his NIS didn’t even move.”
NIS isn’t a percentage.
Each wage falls into one of 16 fixed weekly bands. Everyone inside the same band pays exactly the same. It only moves when a raise crosses into the next one.
Six of the 16 classes shown, weekly totals from the official NIBTT table effective 5 January 2026. Contributions stop rising once earnings pass $13,600 a month.
Enter the dates worked and their contribution weeks are counted from the calendar.
Counted by the Mondays in the period, so the figures are right for that month.
65 and over, under 16, or receiving retirement pension: employer only, no employee contribution.
Under 16 and 60 and over are exempt. Applied automatically from the date of birth on file.
Add them and everything adjusts, including which class the person lands in that period.
No account, no cloud. A backup button saves it all to a file you keep.
The contribution rate does not sit still, and when it moves every earnings class moves with it. This is the single biggest reason payroll done by hand goes quietly wrong.
The rate held for over nine years. Most spreadsheets in the country were built on this table.
All 16 earnings classes changed. Maximum weekly contribution $508.50. Any payroll not rebuilt in January has been under-deducting since.
Every band moves again. Maximum weekly contribution rises to $602.40. Valcrest clients get the new table under the annual licence.
days until the next increase, when every one of these figures changes again.
One payment to set it up, and that includes your first year. After that, a flat annual licence keeps your rates current. No monthly fee, no per payslip charge.
Rates rose in January 2026 and rise again in January 2027. When they do, every earnings class changes. The licence keeps your system correct through those changes and covers support. If you ever stop renewing, the software keeps working, it just stops receiving rate updates.
Two simpler tools. One payment each, no renewal, your business name on it, runs on your own computer.
Your staff get a proper slip with your name on it. Gross, deductions, net. PDF to print, email or WhatsApp. Every period kept for reprints.
